So, I googled ‘Single Asian Male’, and I found these two postings on craigslist.  Check it out:

Hi, Im a single asian male looking for a someone to hang out with tonite. We can grab a few drinks or meet for coffee to get to know each other better. If the chemistry is right we’ll take it from there. Please respond with a description and a pic if interested. Im 34yo, 5’10″, and 170lb
 
So, these two SAMs are looking for company, but again, are making classic SAM mistakes!  Let me start my lesson! 

Bachelor number one is a SAM from Cali.  (The SAM population in Cali is way high, btw!)  Firstly, he says he wants a ‘discreet’ relationship!  What the hell is that?  Does he not want sex??!?!  It gets worse…  He proclaims “Im a nice guy who will treat you with respect”!  Girls don’t want nice and respectful, they want an exciting, unpredictable, ballzy guy with sexual energy!  No wonder he’s 33 and single…
 
Bachelor number two is also from Cali.  He’s about the same age as the first guy.  His posting is a bit better in that he isn’t listing his boring SAM traits.  The only thing is that he’s trying to get a date that night, which sounds kind of desperate to me.  In any case, I think both these guys should play up the fact that they can be fun and interesting instead of subdued and ‘respectful’.  Jeesh…  No hot girls are gonna respond to these postings!  Further, I think that asking for a picture isn’t a good idea.  That’s superficial.  Just go out with anybody, and see what happens!  Live and learn.  SAMs can’t afford to be picky.  So, here’s a sample of what you could write:

Hi, I’m an upbeat, interesting guy looking for a special lady to hang out with. I’m up for coffee, coctails, and food!  I love food.  Also, I enjoy conversation since it’s the only way to really know someone.  I’ll make you laugh, I’ll make you smile, and I’ll make you say hmmm…  If the chemistry is right we’ll take it from there.  I’m 34yo, tall and fit.  Write me!
